This is a static website. It does not use accounts, comments or a contact form, and it does not set its own cookies.
Hosting. The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may process technical data such as IP addresses to deliver and secure the site.
Third-party content. Video thumbnails load from YouTube (i.ytimg.com) and links go to YouTube and X, which have their own privacy policies.
YouTube API Services. GameTechPlanet uses YouTube API Services in a private, internal tool that manages the GameTechPlanet YouTube channel. By using it, we agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service, and the Google Privacy Policy applies to data Google handles. Visitors to this website never sign in with Google, and nothing about site visitors is sent to YouTube through this tool.
- What it accesses: only the GameTechPlanet channel, signed in by the channel owner through Google (OAuth). It reads the channel's own video stats (views, likes, comment counts), playlists, and public comments on its own videos (the commenter's display name and comment text) so they can be answered. It can manage the channel's own videos, captions and comments. It never accesses anyone else's account.
- What is stored: a sign-in token, reply drafts for comments (comment ID, author name, comment text and the draft reply), and an activity log. These are kept on a private server, never on this website. Video stats are fetched when needed and not kept.
- How long: reply drafts and logs are deleted after 30 days at most. Stored YouTube data is refreshed or deleted within 30 days, as YouTube's policies require. The sign-in token is kept until access is revoked.
- Sharing: this data is never sold or shared with third parties.
- Your choices: if you commented on a GameTechPlanet video and want your comment data removed from the tool, ask through the Contact page. Google account holders can revoke an app's access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Affiliate links. The site has no affiliate links right now. If affiliate links are added, the retailer may use cookies to track qualifying purchases. See the affiliate disclosure.
Analytics. I use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see basic, anonymous visit stats like page views and which pages are popular. It does not use cookies and does not track you across other sites.
